Goal:
Deal with the issue at the end of each customer’s job so that there is no discrepancy between timesheet hours, job length, and job cost.
Process:
An issue arises (heat break, fatigue break, team mate injured)
Set the job end time
Take note of the job cost $ at this point.
The office team member or manager uses the “BREAK” button on the job detail screen to reduce the specific break time to zero (don’t change normal lunch breaks).
IF this affects job cost (ie pushes job charge into next half hour), THEN use the appropriate discount code i.e Break - Heat or Discount to adjust the job cost.
Any issues check with a manager at the end of your shift.
