Management update

• Jack Tandy successfully lobbied council

• Good D&I meeting, now happening after toolbox

• Gabe has been on depot management checking trucks

• Depot day jobs codified

• JT messaged a bunch of quiz stragglers and MW mopped them up

Health & Safety reps update. Updates on legislation, codes of practice, guidance materials

• Tom to be booked in for training by MW

Review of Workplace Health Safety Injury/Incident statistics and data

• Big increase injuries, winter has come

• Many injuries in Cranbourne, stretched thin

• High incidence of rolled ankles, lots of lost time

• Uncertain if footwear type is a factor

• Very little information regarding circumstances of neck injury

• Alex to make a gas lift bed how-to vid next time he does one

• Report regarding customer dispute:

  1. Rude customer

  2. Job completed, refused to pay full amount

  3. Inconsistent direction provided by customer

  4. Customer said would only pay half of amount

  5. Staff called office whilst in apartment with customers

  6. Customer became angry, swore and pushed staff member against door

  7. Staff left and called 000

  8. Customer comes outside and starts circling the block in his car

  9. Second day on the job for second staff member

  10. Police report made

  11. MW called Richmond police, who may be in touch

  12. Staff member will be pressing charges 

  13. Staff member bruised but mostly better
