Progress so far:
• Surveillance Policy: Comprehensive protections against unwanted monitoring, particularly driver-facing cameras.
• Access to HR Consultants: For policy writing and dispute resolution.
• Tenure Increases: Management offering 2% at 1,000 hrs and 6% at 4,000 hrs.
• Roster Reform:
• Weekly roster two weeks in advance based on recent demand.
• Reduction in last-minute cancellations.
• Shift confirmations issued at least two days in advance.
• Lateness Policy:
• No loss of shift within first 10 minutes late.
• Exceptional circumstances considered.
• Extra Leave: 10 additional days paid leave for family and domestic violence circumstances.
• Outstanding Claims:
• Higher base rate.
• Superannuation claim unresolved.

2. Cancellation Policy Discussion
• Customer side:
• Current: One-hour fee if cancelled within 24 hrs, usually only applied if costs already incurred.
• Planned: One-hour fee if cancelled after COB the day before, to align with staff cancellation entitlements.
• Future: Automatic charge with online bookings.
• Staff side:
• Guaranteed shifts two days in advance.
• Minimum 4 hours pay if cancelled within 12 hrs.

3. Safety & OHS Update – Thom Ledgerwood
• Depot Safety:
• Recent inspection went well (report available on wiki).
• Improvements noted vs. old depot.
• Cranbourne Site:
• Needs stronger engagement on safety.
• Common Hazards:
• Power from jobs, unsafe staircases, missing handrails.
• Brainstorming better hazard management.
• Risk Management:
• Exploring La Trobe Uni risk management program with consultants (Ergonomics).
• High-Vis Vests:
• Located behind seats/headrests.
• Low voluntary use observed except when required externally.
• $100 incentive for safety training videos showing correct safety behaviours (no submissions yet).
• Truck Door Safety:
• Back door clips must be secured every time to prevent safety incidents and damage.

4. EBA Clarifications
• B3 Jobs:
• Minimum charge to customer will now be 4 hrs rather than 6 (aligned with company minimum shift payment).
• Pay Offer:
• Unchanged from first meeting, linked to recent price rise to customers.
• Back pay from expiry date once agreement is signed.
• Next EBA Meeting: Wednesday evening – remote attendance welcome.
