WINDSOR’S WORLD OF WONDERFUL WINDOW WASHING - A GUIDE

STEP 1: GATHER YOUR ARSENAL

1. Pop on a pair of rubber gloves, ‘cause we’re getting serious. 

2. Fill blue bucket with: 

   1. 100ml blue windex

   2. 100ml Methylated Spirits or Isopropyl Alcohol

   3. A two squirts of dishwashing liquid

   4. Fill with hot water to 3/4 full 

3. Get your full bucket, an empty bucket, rubber squeegee, white window mop, microfibre cloth and clean white towel together on your cleaning cart, find your closest window-cleaning buddy, and get to work!

STEP 2: IT’S WINDOW TIME

1. Pop a couple of towels on the ground at the base of the full length windows/doors. However, when cleaning windows with a sill, there is no need to put a towel on the sill.

2. Wet the window mop, wring it out into a 2nd (empty) bucket and give that glass a scrub.

3. Your team mate follows behind you with the squeegee in a Miyagi-style, left to right, then down, then right to left movement. Every second left to right, wipe the squeegee dry with a microfibre cloth.

4. Wipe any residue around the edges of the window with a towel or dry microfibre cloth. 

5. Wipe the window sill with the towel before moving on to your next non-crystalline silica-based victim.
